Real Estate Legal Plan

For most of us the biggest purchasing decision and most valued investment we will ever make is the purchase of our home. For that reason it is imperative that all real estate transactions contemplated and executed are done so with the assistance of a pre-qualified attorney.

Obtaining the services of a skilled real estate attorney could save you thousands of dollars today and potentially much more in the future.

Legal Care Direct™ (LCD) has a network of plan attorneys in all 50 states that have contracted to provide our members and their families with numerous free and discounted legal services.

Each plan attorney will provide members with the following legal services;

Free Services*

• Plan attorneys will provide free consultations for each new real estate matter
• Plan attorneys will review each individual real estate related document (6 pages per document) for each new legal matter. This free service could include the review of leases, title docs, association docs, purchase lease and sale agreements, etc.
• Plan attorneys will write letters on your behalf for each new legal matter. This could be an eviction notice or demand for payment
• Plan attorneys will make phone calls on your behalf for each new legal matter.
• Plan attorneys will prepare a simple will for the member and their family and update it annually for free

Discounted Schedule of Commonly Used Legal Services*

Plan attorneys will charge a one-time fee for specific areas of legal representation. They include:

Simple Will with Minors Trust	250.00	530.00
A home purchase or sale means that its time to update your last will and testament. Allow one of our plan attorneys to update your will and trust so that you and your beneficiaries are protected now and in the future.
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy	750.00	1,500.00
Bankruptcy can be very traumatic, but it doesn’t have to be costly. Allow a plan attorney to review your financial situation and determine if bankruptcy is the best option for you. If so, they will assist you through the entire process and provide you with peace of mind.
Personal Real Estate Closing	250.00	675.00
For a one time fee of $175.00 a plan attorney will represent you at a personal real estate closing. A plan attorney will consult with you, review all legal documentation, and accompany you during the closing.

Capped Hourly Rate

This is where tremendous savings is realized. After the free letters, calls and consultations take place, members and their attorneys will have to decide what course of action to take next. In some cases, members will have no choice and litigation will ensue. This is when Legal Club plan attorneys charge a capped hourly rate. Plan attorneys will either charge $125.00 per hour, or when appropriate, give members a 40% discount off their usual and customary hourly rate.

Retainers:
In the case of extended legal care, plan attorneys may ask you for a retainer. Any retainer sought will be computed by multiplying the number of hours a plan attorney believes a case will take, by the appropriate discounted hourly plan rate. For instance; 10 hours x $125.00 = a retainer of $1,250.00. Any unused portion of the retainer will be returned to you.
